In the Provençal countryside, south of the Sainte Croix lake and the Gorges du Verdon, the Estré valley planted with olive trees, truffle fields and meadows, is protected by forests of holm oaks and pines.
The bastide, built on the edge of the woods, bears witness to traditional Provencal architecture and is home to gîtes and stopovers.
A small road across the hill joins the village of Aups three kilometres below.
We are happy to welcome hikers who wish to make a stop on their itineraries, but also cyclists, horse riders...
Parks, stalls and hay are available for horses.
A shelter is provided for bicycles.
The house can also be used as a starting point for radiant circuits to the Verdon, the lakes, the crests, the hills and the forests of the Haut-Var. A choice of itineraries, descriptions and maps is available at l'Estré.
