39th Chestnut Festival
Every year at harvest time, the Chestnut Festival is organised in Collobrières.
Held on the last three Sundays of October, they bring together numerous craftsmen who exhibit their know-how. It is a great local festival that brings together craftsmen, producers and artists who are selected according to quality criteria.
This event helps to promote the economic and agricultural activity of Collobrières, a rural commune in the Maures massif.

– 10am: inaugural parade, brotherhoods, folk groups, Italian flag throwers
– 10.30am : Solemn mass
– Sunday 30 October: Craftsmen’s day
– the old trades of Giens
– demonstrations of crafts: glass blowers, wood turners, wool work.
Visits to the Godissard chestnut grove on Sundays 16, 23, 30 October and 6 November, by reservation at the Intercommunal Tourist Office.
“Little beaver farmer’s workshop” for children aged 2 to 17, on Wednesday 26 and Saturday 29 October, Wednesday 2 and Saturday 5 November, by reservation at the Intercommunal Tourist Office.
