Make your own Parc at Aups

Description :

In order to build its new roadmap for the coming years, the Verdon Regional Nature Park has carried out an inventory of the territory. This has allowed us to draw up an assessment of what has evolved over the last few decades, to identify what is going well and what raises questions, and to point out the various issues on which to act. To carry out this assessment, the team of the Park collected and synthesized many statistical data, thematic studies and inventories. These data were then completed, discussed and analyzed by the elected representatives of the communes and intermunicipalities of the Verdon, technical and institutional partners and associations or economic groups.

These exchanges highlighted the need to take into account the effects of climate change on our habitat, on our agricultural and tourist practices and on our natural resources (forest, water…). The question of the erosion of biodiversity, water quality, the preservation of common property, agricultural land and natural areas as well as the particularly attractive landscapes of the Verdon also emerged. Our lifestyles in a rural and tourist area, our ability to get involved in local life or to create social links were at the heart of the exchanges.

Thus, the Parc du Verdon proposes 4 web-conferences and 4 evening debates online to give the floor this time to the inhabitants and give their opinion on these subjects.
